Minty & Friend
Brand identity and marketing
—
They had been aware for some time that their image was outdated and came bundled with the safe and clichéd representation that often attaches itself to disability issues.
After seeing Wire talk at a conference for business leaders on a more commercially credible approach to inclusive design, they approached us to help develop a new brand and communication strategy.
After research with existing and new target clients, we recommended a name change from Churchill, Minty and Friend. Next – we developed a message to capture the positive advantages of disability.
The text image we created challenged standard perceptions of predictable legibility. It uses different typefaces to represent individuality personalities. A vibrant colour pallet was adopted to reflect a more up beat and positive attitude.
Wire went on to rewrite the company's offer, to develop their online presence and to create marketing materials and an exhibition stand.
