LSO Space
Digital strategy and development
—
The London Symphony Orchestra have an aim — to ‘own’ the international classical music market. They identified the internet and mobile phone as the new international delivery platforms which will provide fertile, unrestrained development areas to initiate, test, prove and evolve digital ideas. After extensive consultation with the senior management team, Wire has built and successfully launched the new digital LSO ‘Space’.
The site successfully launched on the 24th April 2009, was capped with an exclusive live video stream conversation with World famous pianist, Lang Lang from St Luke’s, London. Registered users were able to submit questions to Lang Lang through the site during this stream.
The site propagates a variety of media assets including; video, photographs and audio. All of which are amalgamated from various different online portals, centralising LSO’s expansive library to one easily accessible location.
Wire are now working closely with the London Symphony team to develop their online marketing further.
