The Innovation Unit are the leading organisation in social thinking and innovation in the UK. Wire have spent the last couple of months helping them to redefine their purpose, advantage, values and offers. This has been followed and supported with a new communication strategy and visual identity.
The new mark is formed from a single block or unit with part of that unit lifted out to create the ‘I’ from ‘U’. The squares were then chamfered to soften the edges and matched with the typeface Replica which has the same ‘chamfered’ qualities.
The identity will come to life for the first time on the new radical efficiency campaign that will help the public sector to create a new model to provide better public services for less money.
