Greig & Stephenson
Brand identity
—
Greig and Stephenson are one of the most respected architectural practices in the UK. They specialise in retail developments and were the visionaries behind the development of Borough Market.
The company had been kept incredibly busy with small, interesting and large-scale international developments. They had started to realise that they were lacking clarity, consistency and credibility in their own identity.
Wire was selected to work on the project based on their understanding of local regeneration and an empathy with partners Ken Greig and Nigel Stephenson.
The first step was to create a new distinctive mark that could become established as a stamp of signature for the organisation. The mark is designed to represent a natural overlap and combination of the ‘g' and ‘s' of the partnership. It is formed out of geometric shapes that represent interior and exterior space.
The website was developed to capitalise on the visual strength of the partnership's work. It is led by high quality, large format images telling a powerful story of the personality of the business and the projects they have created.
