Employers’ Forum on Disability
Brand and marketing
Employers’ Forum on Disability (EFD) is the world’s leadingemployers organisation focused on disability in business. It makes iteasier for people to employ and do business with disabled people. Theyhost events and offer consultancy services amongst other things.
Wirehas been brought in to update marketing material and to help evolve andupdate the brand and is helping create simple themes for differentoffers.
The work has started with the events department, where ithas put dialogue at the centre of the identity. Built around theidea that EFD events provide a space for people from differentbackgrounds to share ideas, quote marks were employed around keylinespaces to represent an ‘arena for dialogue’. This in turn created afunctional and distinctive template, helping to build a consistent, distinctive image.
The annual review followed the equally simple theme of improvement.
Theproject posed the challenging but rewarding issue of evolution withoutcreating a new logo, typeface or colour palette. All documents wereproduced to the highest possible levels of accessibility.
The evolved identity has already been applied to key documents including the events guide and annual review.
Following the update, bookings to events increased dramatically.
