Ealing lies directly between Heathrow Airport and the West End of London. In 2008, with a new leadership and administration, they embarked on a more progressive regeneration strategy.
For many developers, Ealing wasn't seen as a major regeneration area, but it had highlighted over a 100 key pockets of opportunity in estates development, retail, town centre redevelopment, mixed use and private housing. It is perfectly located, with an established community. For the first time, Ealing chose to represent themselves to the commercial development world at MIPIM international property development conference in Cannes.
Wire were selected to help create a marketing strategy, brand and marketing materials based on their experience at MIPIM and extensive knowledge of regeneration of commercial development.
The brand carried a very clear and descriptive title and the graphics were derived from the Old Oak tree from their existing logo. It expresses new growth from established, low risk stock. Wire went on to create a set of easy to carry, highly memorable materials that connected to a post-conference website and more detailed information.
The conference generated great interest in Ealing with the regeneration team able to follow up and attract major commercial and appropriate social developers. These relationships are continuing to grow today.
