The UK’s largest independent funder of New Music chose Wire to help to completely overhaul their image and messaging. Our job was to create a brand identity that reflected the Foundation's aims and objectives.

The Performing Rights Society Foundation supports, stimulates and encourages new and pioneering music by UK based composers and musicians. Our experience in music helped us to understand the requirements, rationalise their name and completely change their strap line.

The new logo uses a visual representation of ‘frequency’ - the essential element of music – to create a design that is neither genre nor instrument specific. The brand was implemented across everything from funding packs to their website and video.

For the National New Music Awards (heralded as ‘the Turner prize for New Music’) we also created an animated sequence based on their new identity, to be shown extensively at the award ceremony.
