Lewisham Council wanted an initiative to encourage people to become more environmentally aware, and chose ourselves to work closely with them in developing a brand that would instill and promote a sense of pride in their environment. 'Love Lewisham' was devised as the appropriate slogan / tag line. The marque employs a classic heart shape, made from two circular arrows, that alludes to the Council's recycling agenda. This marque, when used in conjunction with our high quality, stylish photographic images, show the borough's parks as great places to visit and enjoy. These images are used to great effect when enlarged and applied to the sides of the council's refuse trucks.
Additionally, we developed further promotional materials, stickers and posters, using the same imagery, to encourage Lewisham's residents and visitors to change their recycling habits, and an innovative 'Love Lewisham' website was launched to enable people to report graffiti and illegal waste problems, via their mobile phones.
