As part of Central Government's agenda for helping and regenerating local communities, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister invited us to create a brand for the newly created Neighbourhood Renewal Unit. The mark is to be used across all demographics, having to work for communities, Government and partner organisations. We chose an accessible, modern, non-political approach, with a logo that represents the large supporting the small, implying upward movement for the smaller unit.
The brand was implemented across a whole range of media, from annual reports, a media & PR toolkit to community specific documents, fact sheets and a monthly publication for the Neighbourhood Warden Team.
