Young Southwark logo

The 2003 Government green paper, 'Every Child Matters', prompted an unprecedented debate about services for children, young people and families across the country. We were chosen by Southwark Council to address the ramifications within its borough. We had to create a brand and a visual language that would communicate to and enable anyone involved with young people to embrace and understand the newly created vision for the young people of Southwark.

The identity involves young people in positive poses. They are unusually literal without being photographic or exact. The colours are strong, bright and positive. The extended identity of the Young Southwark brand draws directly from this look & feel. The brand is now being rolled out across the borough and has been adopted as the unifying badge of Southwark's commitment to the growth, safety and futures of its young people.
