Wire have acted as lead communication design consultants for the Helen Hamlyn Research Centre for Inclusive Design (RCA), the Design Council and the Royal Society of Arts, on the development of 'The Inclusive Design Book' and online resource.
Wire recently won the Design Business Association’s annual ‘Inclusive Design Challenge’, presented at the Royal College of Art in April 2006, with their inovative software package, Consider.
We believe that all services, products and environments should be accessible to everyone regardless of age, ability or background and we employ this philosophy at all levels of our working process.
The first issue of Wire's publication, Crossfields, published in June 2005, has Access as its main theme. The second issue was published in November 2006.
